Prize Contest, October 20–23, 2014

Your team could earn a substantial donation towards its fundraising goal, helping it to win the title of “Top Fundraising Team.”

We challenge teams to raise as much as they can between October 20–23. A generous Her Justice donor has underwritten this contest, with the most-successful team winning $5,000.

• The Details: Teams must raise as much as they can through the Story by Story website, www.storybystory.org, between Monday, October 20 (12 noon) and Thursday, October 23 (11:59 pm) to qualify.

• The Prize: $5,000 will be donated to the team which raises the most during this four-day period.
  
  The winning team will be notified by Tuesday, October 28, and the funds will be applied directly to its online fundraising account. The stair climb’s “Top Fundraising Team” will be named on November 6.

• Please note:  Donations received before October 20 (12 noon) or after October 23 (11:59 pm) do not qualify. Pledges do not qualify; funds must be fully processed on the www.storybystory.org website. A cash sponsorship donation to Her Justice is not applicable to the team's fundraising total. The additional funds awarded to any team do not satisfy the $100/person fundraising requirement for each team member.

Free Story by Story^® t-shirt

All registered climbers and event volunteers will receive a free Story by Story t-shirt when they check in at the event.

 





Strike a pose! And show off your team shirts

We will be showcasing our favorite photos of climbers in email blasts following the event. You might also be featured in next year's Story by Story promotional materials. So, we encourage you to strike as memorable a pose as possible. And we love it when teams create and wear their own team shirts. We will also highlight photos of teams with the most creative shirts or outfits.

Prizes and honors will be awarded to the top fundraisers in the team and individual categories. The fundraising deadline is November 6, 2014.

The top fundraising team will receive:

• Invitations to the annual Commitment to Justice Awards (February 5, 2015, Lincoln Center), where they will receive an award for their dedication to the Her Justice mission of pro bono service. The award ceremony will include an elegant cocktail reception. Team members will be encouraged to invite guests to experience this special night with them, surrounded by over 200 Her Justice supporters.
  
  Please note: a cash sponsorship donation to Her Justice is not applicable to the team's fundraising total.

The top fundraising individual will receive:

• 12 tickets to attend a November 22nd New York Knicks (vs. Philadelphia 76ers) game in a private box at Madison Square Garden. Light refreshments will be included. We truly thank Greg Starner and White & Case LLP for this generous donation. Redemption information will be sent to the winner after the November 6th fundraising deadline.
  
  Please note: members of the Her Justice Board of Directors or Junior Advisory Board are not eligible for this prize.
